Aerodynamically Invisible Our Aerodynamic engineers designed in elements from racing cars to help make the Torpedo bottle aerodynamically invisible. Contoured bottle design – fits snugly between your arms and allows you to rest your hands comfortably in front or to the side. Kamm Tail – The angled rear of the bottle, is not just for looks. It helps reduce the drag by 50%. Airflow Straighteners – Carefully molded into the top of the bottle, these grooves re-direct airflow for a clean, straight exit, reducing drag. Small rounded Nose – With a small frontal area and smooth edges, air can wrap cleanly around the bottle essentially eliminating harsh surface impact which can cost you time in a race. Easy Maintenance One-piece, Torpedo bottle is very easy to clean. Simply soak, cover holes, shake, rinse and dry! Large lid hole allows for bottle brushes to be used as well. One-piece bottle body ensures there is no leaking – keeping your bike sticky-free. All visible hardware is specially coated to help avoid corrosion.

HOW WE MADE AEROBARS FASTER

The pursuit of reducing the drag of aerobar setups led us to the development of the first horizontal between-the-arms aerobar hydration mount in 2009. The XLAB Torpedo System successfully reduced aerodynamic drag and created a safer, more streamlined hydration source than previously available.

The XLAB VERSA COMPUTER MOUNT is a revolutionary, telescoping computer mount for viewing performance data no matter what type of bottle is used. Our objective in designing this mount was to add versatility without sacrificing aerodynamic performance. Raise the computer mount up to to use with the TORPEDO BOTTLE, or lower it down to clear a Standard Bottle while maintaining optimal view. Avoid sun glare by simply tilting the computer on the go.

System Care

Bottle Care

HAND WASH YOUR TORPEDO BOTTLE, STRAW, PLUG, BITE VALVE, AND LID EVERY TIME YOU USE IT AND BEFORE INITIAL FIRST USE.
When cleaning by hand it is not necessary to remove the accessories.

Fill TORPEDO BOTTLE with soapy water.
Use one hand to cover the holes on top of the bottle.
Shake bottle vigorously.
Rinse and repeat.

Straw Care

Hand wash straw in lukewarm water only. Use a long thin brush to clean tube. Hot water or the dishwasher will damage straw material.

Note: athletes with Direct Bolt-Mount aerobars on select Cervelo^®, Trek^® and Argon 18^® bike models, including Cervelo^® EX11 Monobars, Cervelo^® EX10 Extension Assemblies, Trek^®/Bontrager^® Speed Concept Monobar Extensions and Argon 18^® E-119 Tri+ Disc cockpit assembly, can optionally install the TORPEDO VERSA SLIM system. This has the same all-in-one hydration and computer mounting system with a fully integrated look that supports the bike’s aerodynamic advantages.
