	Fastest When installed in the high position, air flows cleanly around the aero seat post. The narrow 5/8″ SONIC WING chassis has an open back allowing air to exit. Save 13 seconds per 40 kilometers when in the high position.

Custom Fit Has 30 different positions available, so that you can have a custom fit position that is both comfortable and aerodynamic. Can be inverted for a lower position on the saddle, or keep it upright for a low drag higher position. 3 different carrier angles and 5 different bottle angles for each position. When a rider drafts behind another rider, the rider behind has a reduction in power required due to having less drag as they are riding in the low pressure wake of the rider in front. This can be as high as a 29% reduction. The other result is that the rider in front also goes faster as the air sees the two riders as virtually connected and the airstream jumps the gap between the riders, causing a lower drag on the front rider.
So the idea is to place the rear bottle in the draft of the rider, in other words in the low pressure area usually in the location of the back of the seat/seatpost. One is trying to basically fill in the low pressure void behind the rider. This has been validated in Tunnels all over the world for years but recently reaffirmed with Velodrome testing using the Alphamantis technology with world champions who are able to hold constant aero positions and power outputs.

Compatibility

The SONIC WING is designed to mount directly to 2-Hole seatpost such as those used on select Quintana Roo^® and Cervelo^®bikes.
Because the carrier mounts to the seat post, the system is compatible with virtually any saddle.

Compatibility between Cervélo^® 2-position seatposts and ISM^® transition hook equipped saddles.

For Cervelo^® bikes equipped with a 2-position seatpost (pre-2013) and an ISM^® transition hook equipped saddle, the SONIC WING works best if you install the Cervélo^® seat clamp in the front position of the seatpost.
If you install the Cervélo^® seat clamp in the rear hole, it will be necessary to invert the XLAB carrier in order to miss the transition hook of the ISM^® saddle.
If you do not wish to invert the carrier, then select either the XLAB CARBON WING 400i, SUPER WING, TURBO WING or MINI WING 105.
