	Lightweight The RAPTOR Cage’s carbon fiber arms and polycarbonate TALONS come together to make an ultra-lightweight package! Carbon Fiber Arms: The arms of the RAPTOR Cage are made of unidirectional carbon fiber wrapped in 3K carbon weave to provide 6 lb of grip! Nylon Composite Talons: The top hook and bottle shelf of the cage are made of a lightweight, but strong nylon composite material. Lightweight: The RAPTOR Cage is our lightest cage, weighing in at 30 g (1.07 oz).

Customizable The RAPTOR Cage comes with removeable TALONS, making it easy to color match your bike! Our RAPTOR Cage comes in matte black carbon with your choice of black, orange, or white TALONS. TALONS are also sold separately! Getting a new bike? Want to match your new bar tape? Visit our TALON page to order another color. Easy to Install: Changing TALONS is as simple as unbolting your cage. The same bolt that installs your cage is the same bolt that attaches your new TALONS.

	Positioning Versatile mounting options. Cause a double-take when you install the stylishly-designed RAPTOR Cage on any road or triathlon frame. The perfect cage for any BTA mount that uses a standard water bottle. The RAPTOR is spec’d on our XLAB Kompact 500 system!

Need even more grip? Pair our cages with our COOL SHOT or AQUA SHOT bottles and gain an additional 2-3 lb, of grip! Our bottles are designed to securely lock into XLAB cages. Our COOL SHOT bottle is the perfect complement to all of our cages. Insulated, light-reflective, and a secure sealing high flow nozzle make it a must-have on your daily rides & races. Our AQUA SHOT bottle is designed with racing in mind. Fluid level graduations printed on the side, self-sealing nozzle, and quick squeeze and drink action will have you turning to it on race day.

Compatibility

One of the most important facts in bottle retention is the interface between cage and bottle.

To ensure the best possible fit with the RAPTOR Cage, use a bottle that has a consistent groove all the way around it’s neck. It should be uniform and fit tightly against the RAPTOR‘s top retaining hook. The bottle surface should be smooth without raised texture. For best results, use our auto-nozzle AQUA SHOT or our insulated COOL SHOT bottles

Installation

Proper installation of the cage will provide you with years of trouble free use and ensure maximum performance.

The screws included with the RAPTOR Cage are for general frame mounting. When installing on an XLAB BTA carrier or any other unit, please use the appropriate hardware specified to ensure a reliable and secure install. Any questions or uncertainty please do not hesitate to contact us.
Bolts should be properly torqued. RAPTOR Cages should be tightened to 2.3 Nm (20-in-lb) of torque, unless otherwise specified in your hydration carrier instructions.
RAPTOR Cages are not recommended for use with rear hydration systems.
