Three Ways to Dial in Your Fit Position: The mounting chassis has a high and a low position to allow you to adjust the system position on the saddle. Use the high position to tuck the system nice and tight under the saddle. Use the low position for extra room to clear saddles with transition hooks. Rotational: The second adjustment offers 15 degrees of rotating cage adjustment to fine tune the cage angle. Vertical: The cage mount bar offers 15 mm of vertical adjustment to raise or lower the cage’s position relative to the saddle.

The DELTA 430 can store your extra full bottle until it’s time for a swap and then hold your empty for the rest of the ride.

Easy Storage Upgrades Available Add the AERO POUCH 300. The tidiest repair storage solution for single bottle rear systems! Add an XLAB MULTI-STRIKE REPAIR HOLDER – a compact storage bracket that sleekly mounts behind the cage! Carries a clincher repair kit – tube, tire levers, CO₂ Cartridges and XLAB INFLATOR. It can also carry a full tubular setup including tubular tire and inflating foam sealant. * It is not recommended the two storage options be used together due to the additional weight load on the rear carrier’s mount.

When a rider drafts behind another rider, the rider behind has a reduction in power required due to having less drag as they are riding in the low pressure wake of the rider in front. This can be as high as a 29% reduction. The other result is that the rider in front also goes faster as the air sees the two riders as virtually connected and the airstream jumps the gap between the riders, causing a lower drag on the front rider.
So the idea is to place the rear bottle in the draft of the rider, in other words in the low pressure area usually in the location of the back of the seat/seatpost. One is trying to basically fill in the low pressure void behind the rider. This has been validated in Tunnels all over the world for years but recently reaffirmed with Velodrome testing using the Alphamantis technology with world champions who are able to hold constant aero positions and power outputs.
