Sonic Nut

An excellent way to hold your CO₂ Cartridges and XLAB NANOFLATOR or SPEED CHUCK. Attaches to the rear of the XLAB SONIC WING and TURBO WING systems.

Makes inflating tires a snap during training rides or out on the race course.

Use an accurate torque wrench set at 30 in.lb of torque for all fasteners. Over tightening may damage the SONIC WING or TURBO WING and void the warranty.
As with any high-tech product you need to routinely check for loose hardware, cracks or other damage and replace items as necessary. Do not use product if any of these conditions are found.

ATTACHING SONIC NUT

The SONIC NUT replaces the top silver hexagonal stabilizer on the SONIC WING or TURBO WING.
Remove the top two 5 mm screws. Remove silver stabilizer.
The hardware kit includes a 30 mm screw, at washer, locknut and a 2 mm thick spacer. Different bottle cages have different thicknesses and so we have included a 2 mm thick spacer to use with lightweight cages that are made from thinner material. If you are using an XLAB GORILLA bottle cage or similar lightweight cage then you will need to use the spacer between the right side of the chassis and the SONIC NUT.
To assemble, insert the 30 mm screw through a 5 mm plain washer, the bottle cage, the side of the chassis, the 2 mm spacer, the SONIC NUT, the eyelet of the strap, the other side of the chassis, the other bottle cage, a 5 mm plain washer and then into the locknut. Hand tighten.
Rotate the SONIC NUT so that the threaded part is facing towards the back of your bike. Now tighten the screw and locknut to 30 in. lb of torque.
