Faster Drinking

On race day, the last thing you want to worry about is a leaky bottle. We designed the AQUA SHOT to be as performance focused as possible. Squeezing the bottle gets you instant refreshment. When you release flow stops and bottle becomes sealed. How do we do it?

  • The patented fast-flow silicone valve automatically opens when the bottle is squeezed and closes when it isn’t. No more fumbling around with a manual valve.
  • Tight tolerances between the lid and bottle threads ensure a secure, leak-free fit. No more sticky drink mix coating the outside of your bottle.

Controlled Hydration

How much you drink is only one part of the race winning equation, when, is equally as important. The AQUA SHOT bottle was designed with these two questions in mind.

  • The AQUA SHOT holds 740 mL (25 oz) of fluid, the perfect amount to hydrate the average athlete for an hour of riding.
  • A transparent bottle and gradations marked every 4 oz. on the AQUA SHOT makes it easy to keep on top of your hydration. Drinking 4 oz every 10 minutes ensures you are getting the right amount of hydration when you need it.
  • With our fast-flow silicone valve, 7 seconds is all you need to drink your 4 oz of fluid. This gives you less time holding the bottle and more time remaining aero.

Bottle Retention

Bottle retention is critical for maintaining the proper level of hydration. The best bottle in the world isn’t any good to you if it’s not there when you reach for it.

  • Not only did we design the best racing bottle possible, we also designed the best bottle / cage interface possible. Friction, compression, and mechanical locking analysis all played important roles in the design of the AQUA SHOT.
  • As with all our bottles, the AQUA SHOT has a continuous, deep neck groove that provides the perfect anchor for our XLAB cages. This combined with a rounded shoulder, non-tapering sides, and a wide base gives the AQUA SHOT – XLAB cage combination unparalleled bottle retention. So much so that using them together can add an extra 2 pounds of grip.

  • The AQUA SHOT is BPA, BPS, BPF and Phthalate Free. We use medical grade materials and the Fast Flow Valve is not exposed to dust or contamination, giving you years of worry-free use.
  • When it does come time to retire your AQUA SHOT, it is also biodegradable! By adding EcoPure to the LDPE polyethylene during the molding process the AQUA SHOT completely biodegrades within 1-5 years.

The AQUA SHOT has a 3-Year Limited Warranty. In order to get years of trouble-free use, please follow these simple care instructions:
Washing:

  • Rinse and wash your bottle after every use. Sugary energy drink residue is a breeding ground for bacteria and microbes. Use a small amount of dish soap with warm water. Shake the bottle well and then squeeze water out through the valve. Next rinse thoroughly with cold water and stand the bottle upside down with the cap off to drain and dry.
  • Top shelf dishwasher safe. Use the normal cycle.
  • To get rid of any odor, mold or mildew, wash your bottle with baking soda and vinegar. Clean the bottle per instruction above. Next, add 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the bottle and half a cup of vinegar. Allow it to sit for 6-7 minutes and then scrub the inside with a bottle brush (available at most supermarkets). When clean, squirt the contents out through the valve. Next, thoroughly rinse the bottle and cap with fresh cold water and then stand upside down to dry.

Freezing/Various Liquids

  • The AQUA SHOT is freezable, but must only be filled ¾ of the bottle. To be safe, we recommend that you freeze your bottles without the lid on.
  • Carbonated beverages can be used.

Storage
Leaving your bottle inserted in the cage for long periods of time can potentially deform and/or damage your bottle. Both of which can compromise bottle retention. We always recommend that you remove your bottles from their cages when not in use.
